Paul David Greer, age 84, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nina Lee and Cecil Greer; siblings, Martha Lee Greer and Rhodes Greer; and cousin, Punch Greer.
Paul is survived by his wife, Clarissa "Tissie" Yost Greer of Marion, Va.; daughter, Clarissa "Leesa" Greer Lawrence, and husband, Gregory Rhea Lawrence, of Marion, Va.; brother, Richard Allen Greer, Marion, Va.; grandchildren, Lori Ariana Lawrence and Nigel Rhea Lawrence; nephews, Michael Greer and Rusty Greer; and grand dog, Moon Pie.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery with the Reverend Dr. James Bennington officiating. Family and friends attending are asked to follow the COVID-19 Safety & Social Distancing Guidelines. Care for Paul's family has been entrusted to Seaver-Brown Funeral Service & Crematory, 237 East Main Street, Marion, Va. 24354.
