Charlotte Ann (Church) Brooks, 63, widow of David Wayne Brooks, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, after a two-year battle with failing health.

She was born in Roanoke, the daughter of the late Isaac Stanley Church and the late Marie Dosie Spears Church.

She will be missed and remembered by her brother, Eddie Church; nephews, Michael D. Church, his wife, Amy and their son, Logan, Michael D. Wissler, his wife, Melinda and their children, Erin, Anna, and Sterling; brother-in-law, Jimmy Wissler; multiple nieces and other family members, as well as three Welsh Corgis, Belvedere, Valiant, and Fury.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Troy Mays officiating. The family will speak to guests following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Simpson Funeral Home is serving the family.
