Verna Hanscom, 99, of Coatesville died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Tel Hai Retirement Community, Honey Brook.
Born in Muncy, she was the daughter of the late Brady and Erma Faus Gardener and the wife of the late Alfred R. Hanscom with whom she shared 47 years of marriage before his death in March 2007.
She was a member of Parkesburg Baptist Church.
Verna is survived by her daughters, Ann Burke, of New Cumberland, Rita Williams, of Bellefonte, Elaine Hanscom, of Thorndale and Debby Post, of Millersville. She is also survived by two granddaughters; seven grandsons; a great-granddaughter; and five great-grandsons.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Alan Hanscom.
Services and Interment will be private in Moreland Baptist Cemetery, Muncy.
