Siale Maveni Angilau, 25, passed away on April 21, 2014 in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born May 22, 1988 in Salt Lake City, UT, to 'Otufangavalu Katoa and Maveni Angilau.
In 2005, Siale was an All-Region football player for East High School and later graduated in 2006 from Horizonte High School.
Siale had a smile that lit up any room. He was quiet, strong willed and had a 'heart of gold'. He always cared and watched out for those he loved. One thing he hated was seeing his loved ones sad or upset. Siale was known as the 'protector' and always made sure his family was in a good place. Family played an important role in Siales life. He was very independent and didn't like others to worry about him, particularly when it came to family. He was a firm believer in respect, which he always showed his parents and especially his grandfather 'PA', Sione Hia Katoa. That same respect and because he always kept his word, is what made him a loyal friend. Siale's friends were a big part of his life and he enjoyed the time he spent with them. He will forever be remembered by all as an 'over protective', loving and caring guy. Rest in peace and love 'Charlie', till we meet again!
