Betty Lou Hammock Lynch, age 84 of Chatham died Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at her residence.
Born September 24, 1936, in Vinton, she was a daughter of the late William Jennings Bryant Hammock and Edith Newbill Hammock.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Joseph Lynch; and two brothers, Calvin Hammock and Alfred Hammock.
She is survived by one daughter, Lamyra Huddleston, and husband, Herman of Denison, Texas; one brother, Lindy Hammock of Chatham; one sister, Mary Ann Davis of Chatham; two grandchildren, Colleen Frost, and Travis Huddleston; one great-grandson; and numerous nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2021, at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Betty D. Marshall. Burial will follow at Liberty Memorial Cemetery. Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Gretna is assisting the family.
