Cynthia R. Chapman, 71, of Tallahassee passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at her home.
A private graveside service will be held Friday at Roselawn Cemetery in Tallahassee, with the Rev’d Michael Shockley officiating.
Cynthia was a native and lifelong resident of Tallahassee, and a proud graduate of Leon High School, Class of 1967. She was also a graduate of Tallahassee State College and Florida State University, where she received her degree in Elementary Education. For many years she was a communicant of St. John’s Episcopal Church and more recently an enthusiastic member of Tallahassee Heights United Methodist Church. Cynthia was retired from the State Library of Florida.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Harold E. Chapman and Ruth Brindley Chapman.
