In 1968, she married George T. Heaberg, III, a Jackson native and widower with four young children. Living in suburban Philadelphia, she was a devoted and loving Mom to the children. The family moved to Jackson in 1980 where she worshiped faithfully at the Forest Heights United Methodist Church and was an active volunteer at the Jackson-Madison County Hospital for many years. She felt blessed by many wonderful, supportive friends in the Jackson area. Her family is so appreciative of the love and care shown to her by these great friends.
Grace is survived by her children, G. Patrick (Betsy) Heaberg, Michael C. (Shelley) Heaberg, and Lisa H. (Edward) Gregory, her grandchildren, Kathryn, Lindsey, Colin, Emmett, Luke, and Carson, and three great grandchildren, Louise, Ann, and Bennett as well as her sister, Marie Vzdanovich. She is predeceased by her daughter, Sara, her former husband, George, and her brother, James Zazzie, Jr.
A celebration of Grace’s life will be held later in 2021. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations
