Warren E. Dumas, age 71, of North Little Rock, passed away October 13, 2007. Warren was born to the late Warren and Evelyn Dumas on November 24, 1935 in Ludlow, Vermont.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock; a thirty-second degree Mason of the Big Rock Lodge, Scottish Rite; a member of the Elks Lodge, VFW, American Legion, and the TAN Hunting Club.
Warren served eight years with the United States Air Force, having served in Korea. He came to Little Rock Air Force Base in 1955 and made North Little Rock his home.
Warren began his career with the North Little Rock Fire Department in 1963 and retired in 1991, as Captain with twenty-eight years of service.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Madelyne Jo Dumas; son, Craig Dumas; grandchildren, Britni and Hunter Dumas and their mother, Myrna Dumas; and a sister, Patricia Ellison. He also leaves behind many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at the Faith Baptist Church, 109 Tanglewood Drive, NLR. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements made by Roller-Owens Funeral Home, (501-791-7400).
