ERNESTINE COOPER GILL, Franklinton, La.

Earnest Cooper Gill, 91, died at 5:15 a.m. Monday at her
residence.
She was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist church.
She is survived by seven daughters, Beatrice Jenkins, Irene Corkern, Inez Passman, Ruby Graves, and Patricia Busby all of Franklinton. Vivian Smith of Mt. Hermon and Mildred Leathers of Tylertown; one son, Walter Cooper of Kentwood and two sisters, Bonnie Magee and Earline Miller both of Franklinton.
She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Cooper and Rob Gill and four sons, Claude Cooper, A.J. Cooper, Michael Cooper and Bruce Cooper.
Visitation was held at Crain Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. J.W. Graves and Eld. Clyde Cooper officiating.
Burial followed in Nobles Cemetery at Pine.
Pallbearers for the services were Bruce Cooper, Charles Ray Dedon, Wayne Passman, Leonard Smith, Hayes Bickham, Mark Crain, A.J. Cooper, Billy Rawls and Alton Cooper.
