Floyd attended school at Whipple School District, #14 and Perry High School.

Farmed the home place from 1928-1942, Worked part time at the Robertson Farm, where he met Zada who was also working there. In 1942 when the family moved to 516 Holly St. Perry, Floyd was working at the Coyle Cotton Gin.

Floyd died at 1:30 pm, Friday, at the Perry Nursing Home, where he had been a patient since 1975.

Taylor was born March 20 1907, in Greenleaf Kansas, and came to a farm five miles west of Perry in 1911. He attended Whipple School. Taylor was married in Enid Sept 22 1929, to the former Zada Boettcher. He worked as a farmer and painter and moved to Perry in 1942. He was stricken by a stroke in 1975 and later entered the nursing home.
