Phyllis Pierce Moore, 83, of Chesapeake, VA passed away peacefully the day after her birthday in the arms of her daughter, in Yorktown, VA on January 20, 2021. Phyllis is predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Benjamin Ernest Moore, Jr., her parents, Curtiss and Lillian Pierce, and her sister, Shirley Phelps. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Pamela Moore Bagalkotkar and husband Prashant, three grandchildren, Brianna Belle, Kiran Kelsey, and Ryan Benjamin Bagalkotkar, and niece Cheryl Bucenell. Phyllis was born in South Norfolk, VA on January 19, 1938. She was a beloved Nana of countless children she cared for through the years, but her most cherished role was Nanny to her 3 grandchildren. She loved her family and her "posse" of friends and their weekly games of Yahtzee and Dominoes. A graveside service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park on Friday, January 29th at 11 am.
