She was born July 21, 1930 in Cowley County, Kansas the daughter of Oscar Otis and Bessie May Fell Riggs. A longtime resident of the Norwich community, she was a retired cook for the Norwich Schools.
Lucile was a member of the First Christian Church, Norwich.
On July 12, 1947, she married Johnnie Doolittle; he died Aug. 29, 2007. Survivors include three daughters Barbara Short and husband Roger, Wanda Kelsey, Debbie Klein and her husband Randy; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death son-in-law Sherman Kelsey; brothers Clyde and and Bob Riggs; sisters Helen Johnson, Esther Kincheloe, Doris Ball and Harriet Johnson.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Norwich. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.
