Joe graduated from Prairie Grove High School, retired from the United States Air Force, had worked as an aircraft mechanic and was proud to say he had worked on Air Force One. He was a mason, had served on the Prairie Grove Planning Commission and was recognized as Prairie Grove Citizen of the Year in 2014.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Prairie Grove where he served as both Elder and Deacon.
He was preceded in death by is parents and one brother Jim Geiger.
Survivors include one brother Roger Geiger; one sister Mary Nell McFarland; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, January 29th, 2021, at Prairie Grove Cemetery Pavilion.
