John, 78, of Riverdale, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Midland and is now reunited with his beloved mother. He was the son of Herbert and Edna (Strine) Austin.
John spent his life in the Riverdale area and enjoyed doing yard work and making models. He was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Riverdale.
John is survived by two brothers, Robert (Carol) Austin, Roger (Nancy) Austin; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and half-siblings, Iver, Donald and Dale Narragon, Myrtle Huffine.
Per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Interment will be held in Riverdale Cemetery.
