She was born October 18, 1975 in Ottumwa to Ray and Cindy Hazlett Mathias.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, she attended Indian Hills Community College and graduated from Buena Vista University with a BA in Psychology. She had worked at Excel, Casey’s General Stores and at the Eddyville Raceway. She was a member of Community Emergency Response Team and loved animals.
Surviving is a daughter, Sierra Shively of Ottumwa; a brother, Bill Mathias of Ottumwa; her boyfriend, Bevan Hol of Eddyville; two dogs, Rufus and Yip.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Mathias and Cindy Wells.
Her body has been cremated. No services are planned at this time.
