Jean M. Taylor of Bridgewater, Virginia passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia, at the age of 88.
She was born on November 21, 1932 in Buffalo, New York a daughter of the late Edwin and Pearl Crawford Taylor. She was a 1950 graduate of Holland Central. Afterwards, she attended Keuka College and graduated in 1954 with her Bachelor's of Art Degree. She also received her Masters of Science Degree in 1956 from the University of Rochester, and then continued her schooling by getting her Doctorate of Philosophy in 1959. After she completed her schooling, she was a Supervisory Pharmacologist Team Leader for the United States Food and Drug Adminstration in Washington, DC. until she retired in 1989.
She is survived by her two nephews, Richard (Nancy) Dehn of Chaffee, and Roger Dehn of Ontario, Canada; two great-nephews, Eric (Heather) Dehn, and Andrew Dehn; and great-niece, Joelle (Todd) Morris.
There will be no Calling Hours. A private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in the Protection Cemetery.
