Lewis Houston Ramsey, age 94, died Monday, May 28, 2012.
Lewis was born in Cherryville, on August 28, 1917, the son of the late Charles Burgin and Belva Elizabeth Ellis Ramsey.
He was retired from the Howell Manufacturing Company, where he worked as a doffer and was a member of The Missionary Methodist Church, Cherryville.
Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Troy Ramsey, Marion Ramsey, and Ruben Ramsey , Two sisters: Catherine Heavner and Ollie Allmond.
Burial will be in the Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery.
