John H. "Bud" Burnett, 79, of Clearfield, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2020 at Penn Highlands Clearfield. He was born on July 15, 1941 in Clearfield the son of the late Henry and Viola (Eyerly) Burnett. On September 28, 1963 he married Carol (McBride) Burnett, who preceded him in death on May 21, 2006. Retired, John worked as a blasting foremen for 38 years at Al Hamilton Contracting. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. John is survived by his two children: Nichole D. Gormont and her husband Ai of Clearfield and John H.J. Burnett and his wife Lisa of Campbelltown, PA and a grandson, John A. Burnett. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Addison Grace Burnett. Friends will be received on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield from 5:00 to 8:00pm. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10am until the hour of services. Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines will be maintained.
