She was born August 18, 1951 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Lora (Carver) Sparks. On November 29, 1976, she married William Mack Clements, and together they shared over 43 years of marriage before his passing on January 7, 2020.
She is survived by her siblings, Jean Hatten, Pauline Fraley, Harold (Juana) Sparks, Susie Martin, Linda (Les) Daniels, and Jay (Carolyn) Sparks; a brother-in-law, Roger Karr; a nephew, Jim (Trish) Daniels, who helped in care giving for her; special close friends, Doug (Amanda) Schwemlein, Phil (Nancy) Harewood, and Molly Sipe; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Sparks, and a sister, Deborah Karr.
Nancy was a graduate of Jackson High School, class of 1969. She went on to become a nursing assistant, where she worked at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center for many years before retiring in 2011. In her free time she loved reading and listening to classic country music.
In accordance with her wishes, private interment at Grandview Cemetery will take place at a future date, where she will be reunited with her beloved husband William.
