Bernice I. Anthony, age 71 years of Skidway Lake and formerly of Stanton Street, Bay City, passed away early Monday morning January 7, 1980, at her residence. She was born in Ionia County, Michigan on May 26, 1908, but was a bay City resident for many years before moving to Skidway Lake eight years ago. Surviving are her husband Webster J. Anthony, four daughters, Mrs. Rudolph L. (Dolores) Hubert of Bay City, Mrs. Robert (Elaine) Archangeli of Standish, Mrs. Clayton (Joan) Elenbaas of bay City, Mrs. Jack (Antoinette) Hollenbeck of Midland; eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Vivian) Anderson of Bay City, Mrs. Silas (Ethylen) Finch of Grandville, Michigan, Mrs. Violet Jarvis of Lansing and one brother, Gerald Garfield of Bay City. The funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from Stapish West with Rev. Fr. George J. Serour officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at Stapish West after 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
