Mrs. Hubert passed away on November 5, 2013 at Huron Woods Nursing Center. She was born in Bay City, MI on March 1, 1928 to the late Webster and Bernice (Garfield) Anthony. Dolores married the love of her life Rudolph L. Hubert and shared 64 wonderful years together until his death on March 14, 2012. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends. Was known for her amazing "Apple Pies", her wit and her willingness to help anyone who needed her.
She is survived by her children Robert Hubert and Renay (Bill) Schmidt. Grandchildren Brett (Kim) Hubert, Torre (Bill) Mccarthy, Clint (Kelli) Schmidt, Trevor (Jenni) Schmidt, and Devlin Schmidt. Great Grandchildren MacKenzie, Larkin, and Alarie Hubert, Carlie McCarthy, Cole, Ava, Khloe, Gavin, Tatum Schmidt. Sisters Elaine Archangeli, Joanie Elenbaas and Antoinette (Jack) Hollenbeck. Many dear nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a daughter Ashley and a dear cousin Frieda Anthony.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr Russell Struble, the caregivers from Dobson Healthcare and Sr Virginia Scalley SNDdeN for her kindness. A special heartfelt thank you to the entire Huron Woods Nursing Home, not only for the outstanding health care they deliver but for the extraordinary and tender personal measures they take to love the hearts placed in their care. The entire Hubert/ Schmidt families say God Bless for taking care of our Mother and Grandmother so lovingly.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at on November 8, 2013 from St Maria Goretti Catholic Church at 10 am with Rev Fr George Serour and Sr Virgina Scally SNDdeN will officiate over the funeral rites with burial Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends may call Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Thursday November 7, 2013 from 1pm to 9pm . On Thursday there will be a vigil service at 4:30 pm and a VFW " Ladies Auxillary" memorial service will be at 5:30 pm . On Friday Dolores will lie in state at the church from 9am till time of service. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St Maria Goretti Church or St Judes Children's Hospital.
