Ruth M. Ashworth, age 89, of Plymouth, passed away early Monday evening (Oct 8th) at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
Ruth was born on November 7, 1917 in Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Howard and Martha (Hauke) McCarty.
On May 20, 1937 she married Francis W. Ashworth at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple resided in Milwaukee after their marriage, then moved to Sheboygan, Rhinelander and finally to Plymouth in 1990. He preceded her in death on September 4, 2006.

She was preceded in death by one brother: Howard D. McCarty, one sister: Jane Solomon and a son-in-law: Marty Thomas.
Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas North Cemetery.

Note:
Following her marriage to Howard Milton McCarty, her mother married Paul George Koelsch.  Thus the last name for her mother of Koelsch for the findagrave memorial.  Her mother's maiden name was Hauke.
