Cécile (née Poirier) Picton

Peacefully at the Swan Lake Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, Mrs. Cécile Picton of Somerset, Manitoba passed away at the age of 78 years.

She leaves to mourn her loving husband; eight children and one daughter-in-law with their families; including 25 grandchildren and their families; with nine great-grandchildren.

She also leaves to mourn four sisters and their families; her husband's family, including his three brothers, three sisters, one sister-in-law and their respective families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by one son Alain Picton in 2000, one daughter Lucille at infancy and by one son-in-law Gerald Fay.

Prayers (were) held at Adam's Funeral Home on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass (was) celebrated in the Haywood Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2 p.m. followed by Interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Gabriel Levesque officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Swan Lake Palliative Care, Box 40, Swan Lake, MB R0G 2S0.
