HINTON, Jan. 18 – Mrs. Macel Ballengee Adkins, 35, wife of Bill Adkins of Hinton, died at 7 a.m. Sunday in the Hinton Hospital following an illness of two months.
The body was removed to the E. M. Meadows Funeral Home on Park Avenue, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning, by the Rev. H. U. Thompson, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenbrier Burial Park.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by an adopted son, Jackie, at home; her mother, Mrs. Frances Ballengee, of Hinton; a brother, Walter Ballengee, of Hinton, and three half brothers; Tom, Frank and Hiram Ballengee, all of Hinton, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Lyons, of Hinton.
