She was born September 25, 1938, in Lewis County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James and Virginia Brown Ackley.
Anna attended Fox Port Baptist Church and she enjoyed reading, playing bingo with her nursing home friends and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Newell Browning; one grandson, Jerrick Davis; and one brother, Junice Ackley.
Anna is survived by two daughters, Arlene McCann (Wendell) of Maysville, Kentucky, and Charlotte Davis of Melbourne, Kentucky; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and three sisters, Kathleen Youngman of Germantown, Kentucky, Eula Fearin of Fox Port, Kentucky, and Darlene Bates of Emience, Kentucky. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021, at the Burtonville Cemetery in Lewis County, Kentucky.
Tina Chinn, James Chinn, Phillip Davis, Terrence Smith, Jerry Davis and Clevie Davis will serve as pallbearers.
