Services for Mrs Essie Downs Wilson Of Dorsey, Rt, 1, will be held at 2 p.mTuesday in Lebanon Methis Church with The Revs. Thomas Warren and Rupert Powell officiating. Burial will be in the church cementry with Waters Funeral Home in charge. She was 74. Mrs Wilson died at 10 p.m. Sunday in Itawamba County Hospital after an illiness of six weeks. She was a member of Lakeland Baptist Church.
She leaves her husband Robert T. Wilson; Two sons George of Dorsey and Robert Jr. of Fulton; Four daugther Mrs. Zelma Young of Fulton, Mrs Cora Lee Morrison of Mantachie, Mrs. Edith Hood of Hamilton Ala. and Mrs. Myrtle Hamilton of Montgomery, Ala. A brother Byron Downs of Booneville, a sister Mrs. Jack Bishop (Rachel Matilda) OF Rienzi,; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The body will be in Mantchie at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Morrison, until time for services.
