F. M. Adams, aged 77, of Monkstown died at the Allen Memorial Hospital this morning at 5 o'clock after an attack of Bright's disease which dates back to last June. The funeral will be held at the home of his son, W. F. Adams tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock, burial following at Forest Grove cemetery, near Telephone.
Mr. Adams was for nearly ten years a resident of Grayson county and had been living at the above address only about a year. He was a member of the Christian church. His wife passed away in 1910. He was a Confederate soldier and fought in several of the big battles of the Civil War, including Chickamauga.
