He was born December 21, 1931 in Elberta, AL to Elzie Edward and Rose Teresa Gardner. He was a member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church in Pine Hill, AL and a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Ann Bleichroth; two sons, David Allen Gardner and George Scott Gardner (Sue); three brothers, William James Gardner, James Emery Gardner, and Ronald Stephen Gardner; sister, Mary Alice Lehman; and two grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Camden, AL. on Wednesday, January 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Truman Todd and Rev. Donald Morgan officiating.
