She was born March 14, 1949, in McMinnville, Tennessee, was retired from the Warren County School System, and was a member of Arlington Church of Christ. Mrs. Templeton was preceded in death by her parents
Charlie William Clendenon and Leoma Curtis Clendenon, her sister Jewel Kesey, and brother Raymond Clendenon.Linda is survived by her husband Allen Templeton, son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Regina Templeton, daughter and son-in-law Kristie and DeWayne McCormick, sisters Vivian Cutler, Charlene (David) Rhea, and Betsy Willis, and grandchildren Jessi Templeton, Josh Templeton (Lydia), Tyler McCormick (Diana), and Peyton McCormick. Several nieces, nephews and family friends also survive. Service is scheduled for Monday, January 18, 2021 in the chapel of McMinnville Funeral Home. Charlie Pearson and John Simmons will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. McMinnville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
