Emma Johnson Gay was my paternal grandmother. I am so sure I would have loved her. My grandpa always told us about her. Our mother would tell us things that grandpa forgot to tell us about her. Said she had red hair, blue eyes and she was English. Every afternoon she would always have her tea and cookies. Regardless of what she was doing. Would have been so nice to have known her but she passed on long before I was even born. She would elope and marry Thomas Henry Gay in 1900. Of that union there were seven children born. Grandma Emma would have a stroke in the winter 0f 1941 that took her life. Gone but never forgotten. Margaret Gay - Sprinkle
