Michael Baur, 68, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born February 24, 1947 in Bellevue the son of Julius G. “Corky” and Mary Margaret (Clark) Baur.

Mike graduated from Bellevue High School in 1965. He served for 34 years in the 200th Red Horse Squadron and the United States Air Force. During this time he served in Operation Enduring Freedom, spent time in Thailand and traveled all over the world before retiring as a MSGT in 2004. He also officiated basketball games for 21 years and volleyball for 25 years. He loved camping, spending time with his brothers, and his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen (Nay), whom he married November 11, 1972 in Bellevue; Two sons; 3 grandchildren; and Two brothers.

In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Baur.

Friends will be received on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where the Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will begin on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue where military honors provided by the 197th Honor Guard of The United States Air Force will begin following Mass.
