According to his baptism record, Andrew (Andreas in German) was born in Obertal, Baden, Germany. He was baptized 29 Nov 1845 in Bühlertal, Baden, Germany. His parents are Andreas (Andrew) Butsch and Aurelia Dresel. Andrew was the 8th of 11 children.
He married Anna Wilgers 29 April 1873 at Holy Guardian Angels Church. Pastor A. Reck officiated. The witnesses were Nicolaus and Angelina Wilgers.
He died at his home on Madison Pike in Sanfordtown after being gored by a bull while crossing a pasture of his son-in-law's, dairyman Evers (maybe Bernard {Ben} and/or Henry J. Evers. Both were dairymen and son-in-laws to Andrew).
