Rebecca Patton Wilson passed away at her home on January 10, 2021.
“Becky” was born on March 27, 1937, in Woodstock, VA to the late John and Vergie Patton.
After graduating high school, she attended Nursing School in Richmond, VA. Becky retired from Friends Homes at Guilford after working there for over 30 years. She was a long-time member of Guilford Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Becky is also predeceased by her husband, Ned Wilson.
Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Smith (Rick) and Heather Thomas (Michael); three granddaughters, and four great-grandchildren.
She will lie in state at the Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, and Thursday, January 14, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. but the family will not be present. The family will receive friends at the Guilford Baptist Church on Friday, January 15, 2021, from noon until 1:30 p.m. followed by her funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Westminster Gardens after the service. Memorial donations may be directed to Guilford Baptist Church, 5904 W. Market Street, Greensboro, NC 27409 or to AuthoraCare (Hospice), 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405. Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel is serving the family.
