Betsy Jean Adamson Gritton, 91, died on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Countryside Manor.
Betsy was born on January 22, 1929 in Vermilion County, Illinois to the late William and Jane Adamson. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church and served alongside her late husband in the ministry for thirty-four years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Maurice Edwin Gritton; son, David Gritton and three brothers.
Survivors include her sons, Reverend Gary Gritton (Anita), Larry Gritton (Yun Jung); daughter, Karen Shepley (Reverend Roland Shepley); daughter-in-law, Debbie Gritton; twenty-nine grandchildren and fifty-three great-grandchildren.
