Died in a horrific accident on 28th of November, 2020 at 12:15 local (Mumbai) time.
Location of incident: Cozy Shelter building in the Shahu Nagar area of Dharavi (Mumbai), India.
The five year old boy had taken the lift to his fourth floor home, accompanied by his two sisters.
While getting out of the elevator, he got stuck between its outer (wooden) and inner doors (sliding grill). The elevator got called down and Hozefa got crushed by the moving lift.
Hozefa's body was only discovered hours later in the elevator shaft. He was pronounced DOA at Sion Hospital.
