Judith Ann Jackson, 79, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2021, at UnityPoint Health-Proctor in Peoria.

Born November 18, 1941, in Marion to Clarence and Maude (Davis) Thomas, she married William Jackson Sr. on June 27, 1962, in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are three children, William Jackson Jr. of Morton, Carrie Lee Jackson of Pekin and Victoria Kathleen Dreifuerst of Peoria; and two siblings, Pam Harmon of Nevada and Patricia (Jack) Brisbin, both of Peoria.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister, Carol Jean.

A homemaker, Judith had also worked as the head secretary at Western Southern Life Insurance Co. in Peoria for several years.

She attended Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria since attending high school. She served as the secretary for the Special Needs Dept. Judith was very instrumental in every aspect while involved with the department. She loved teaching and helping people to understand about Jesus. Judith was an example of what she taught and believed.

Cremation will be accorded with inurnment at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield.
