Rebecca Lea Monroe, 65, of Sulphur passed away on October 2nd, 2020. She was born on April 29, 1955 to her late parents; John Hartstine and Mable Koonce. Rebecca was a life long member of Houston River Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir. She also enjoyed reading and working her puzzles.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Bobby Monroe and her son, Jason Monroe.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Monroe and her brother, Arnold Hartstine.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 15th at 2 p.m. in Houston River Baptist Church with Pastor Lonnie Gothrup officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of service in the church. Interment will follow at Parker Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
