Rosa Ellen French, 74, of Clifton Forge, Virginia, passed away on December 27, 2020, at Martinsville Health and Rehab.
She was born in Bland County, Virginia on March 31, 1946, to the late Rufus French and Mary Sarver French.
She lived in the New River Valley and surrounding areas most of her life. She went peacefully in her sleep. She is loved and already missed dearly. Ms. French enjoyed gospel and bluegrass music, she loved red roses and being outdoors in the sunshine, She also loved spending time with her family and riding the parkway, looking from the overview of the mountains, and watching the leaves change with the seasons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Diana French and Lois French; and her brother Emmette French; as well as her love, Elton Grant O’Berry.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Ramsey; sons, Mark O’Berry and Grant O’Berry; sisters, Freda Byrne and Cora Lee Graham; brother, Jerry French; and numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at the Bland Cemetery on January 24, 2021, at 12 pm. Any Flowers for burial may be sent to 4822 LakeLand Rd, Dublin Va, 24084. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
