Susan Boatright Taylor age 73 of Smithville, passed away Wednesday morning January 6, 2021 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER.
She was born October 29, 1947 to her parents, the late Ernest Everett Richard and Winnifred Jewell Gilcrest Boatright.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Boatright.
She was a Pentecostal, worked many years in Sales Communications and for 13 years at Federal Mogul.
She is survived by her husband, Ceylon Eugene Taylor, Sr. of Smithville; 3 children, Connie (Charles) Stacey of Smithville; Joyce (Len) Ferrell of Smithville and Frank (Kim) Smith of McMinnville; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings, Richard "Dick" Boatright, Sandy Boatright, Darlene Boatright, Lori Boatright and Herbert Boatright all of Oregon.
Graveside services and interment will be 2:PM Sunday at Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
