Porter Corners—Ellen M. Howard, 74, of Allen Road, Porter Corners, died Thursday, July 24,1997, at her home after a short illness. Born in Galway, Aug. 25, 1922, she was the daughter of Thomas and Ada Male.
She was a legal secretary for General Electric Company in Cincinnati, Ohio for 32 years. She retired in 1982 and moved to Porter Corners. Mrs. Howard was a member of the Ladies Club of Saratoga Springs.
Survivors include a daughter, Marianne Murauskas of Porter Corners; a son David Ellsworth of Seattle, Wash.; a brother Herbert Male of Sumter, S.C.; three sisters, Carolyn Carpenter of Farmington, Mary DeRyke of Stuart, Fla. and Lena Denison of Galway; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High St., Ballston Spa.
