Lyman G. Ellsworth, husband of Mrs. Ellen Ellsworth, 115 Milton Ave., Ballston Spa, has been accepted for service in the U. S. Marine Corps. He left today for Paris Island, S.C., where he will undergo recruit training. Private Ellsworth formerly attended Ballston Spa High School and Vocational High School in Schenectady. He has been employed by the General Electric Company.

Lyman G. Ellsworth, 69, a former native of Ballston Spa, died July 8, in Denver, Colo., after a long illness.

He is survived by his wife, Carman; a son, David L. of Seattle, Wash.; a daughter, Marianne Murauskas of Porter Corners; and seven grandchildren.

Private services and cremation will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
