LUBBOCK - Glynn Hill, 67, died Monday, Oct. 20, 1997.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Amarillo with the Rev. Robert Black of First Baptist Church in Plainview officiating. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.

Mr. Hill was born in Plainview. At an early age, he moved with his family to Giddings, where he graduated from high school. After graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso, he entered mortuary school at Houston. He received his funeral director's and embalmer's licenses.

He was a funeral director in Texas for 40 years before retiring. He was the former owner of Hill Funeral Chapel in Temple. Before moving to Lubbock, he lived in Idalou for several years.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his wife, Laura, in 1993. He married Vivian Adams in 1994 at Lubbock.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brent Hill of Austin and Travis Hill of Salt Lake City; a stepson, Gentry Lynn of Idalou; a stepdaughter, Serena Elmore of Tokio; two brothers, Joe Hill of Odessa and Wayland Hill of Temple; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
