Linda Ann Delahanty Newell, 62, of Boiling Springs, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born on October 12, 1958, in Hamilton, NJ; daughter of the late Thomas Delahanty (1938–2016) and June Elizabeth Dutko Delahanty (1938–2006); wife of Richard John Newell, Sr.

A homemaker all of her life.

Survivors include sons, Richard John Newell, Jr. (Christina) and James David Newell (Ariel); daughter, Kathleen Marie Newell Duncan (Timothy); brother, Thomas Edward Delahanty, III (Linda); two grandsons; and five granddaughters.

Loved spoiling her seven grandchildren; was a dog mom that never met a pooch she didn't like and always had a biscuit on her in case of meeting new k9 friends; favorite place was the beach where she could wiggle her toes in the sand and ride the waves with her family; and was a strong willed, fiercely loyal, a devoted wife, and the best mother.
