Margaret Currie, aged 93 years, passed away peacefully at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre on June 29, 2000.

Margaret was born in Brokenhead, MB, April 20. 1907. She worked in retail sales in various companies until she retired at age 70. She was a strong, independent woman and lived on her own since 1980 when her husband Jim passed away, and then she returned to Winnipeg from Toronto.

She was predeceased by her husband Jim; son Roy; brothers, Edward, Joe, Mike, John, Frank, Nick; and sister Helen.

She will be missed by her grandchildren, Lyn, Dale, Gay and Carol, and their families; daughter-in-law Jean; brothers, Anton and wife Jessie, Paul and wife Sophie, Ernie and wife Anne.

The family wish to thank the doctors, nurses and caregivers at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre for making Margarets stay as comfortable as possible.

Viewing will be on Tuesday afternoon, July 4 from 1:30 p.m. -2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

We will sadly miss you, Margaret.
