A proud, full-blooded member of the Kiowa tribe, Mr. Wilson was born and raised in Hobart, OK, where he attended the Fort Sill Indian School. A decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the US Army's 101st Airborne Division. After the war, he graduated from Oklahoma State University, and began his lifelong career as a professional artist.
He is survived by his beloved wife Judy, his son Douglas, and his daughters Elizabeth, Pamela and Vivian, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his brother Richard, aunt Rachel Unah and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, sister Wilsonia and his son Brian.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from New Home Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Sutton officiating. The interment will follow with military honors at New Home Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery .
