Harold Wayne Spottedbird Sr., 61, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, in Lawton.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at Comanche Nation Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Will Brown of Hobart officiating.
Burial will follow at Elk Creek Indian Cemetery Hobart.
Harold was born July 8, 1954, in Clinton to Woodrow Wilson and Lorene Tsotigh Spottedbird Sr. He was a self-employed Native American artist and musician and a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma.
He is survived by his daughters: Wilsonia Trice of Aurora, Colo.;. Ida Cora Spottedbird of Apache; and Alicia Ann Spottedbird of Lawton; a son, Harold Wayne Spottedbird Jr., of Apache; brothers: Woodrow Wilson Spottedbird Jr. of Deatsville, Ala; Richard Spottedbird of Denver; Steven Spottedbird of Hobart; Eddie Spottedbird of Oklahoma City; Jimmy Tsotigh of Hobart; and Larry Cole of Okmulgee; aunts: Rachel Yunah of Alex and Francis Trevino of Altus; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Woodrow Wilson Spottedbird Sr. and Lorene Tsotigh Spottedbird Cole; a brother, Aaron Paul Spottedbird; and a sister, Wilsonia Spottedbird Blackeagle.
