Charles Betsworth, 85, a longtime resident of Plymouth and Woodbury counties, died Tuesday at his home, 1015 Ninth street, of a heart attack. He had resided here 40 years. Mr. Betsworth was born January 7, 1862, at Anemessic, Md. He married Addie Hoover of Plymouth county in 1880 and she died September 6, 1906. Survivors include a son, William of Alma, Wash., and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Betts of Aberdeen, Wash., and Mrs. Nella Tozier, Sioux City. The Anderson funeral home has charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Charles Betsworth, 85, who died Tuesday at his home, 1015 Ninth street, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Anderson chapel. Rev. R. D. Acheson will officiate and interment will be in the Merrill, Ia., cemetery. Nephews and grandsons will be pallbearers.
