Born Jan. 3, 1913, in Madison, Ga., Mrs. Gordon was a daughter of the late Thomas and Laura Rhodes Dickerson. She had retired in 1977 after 36 years at Cannon Mills, Plant 1, where she worked in the lab and sheet departments. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Her husband, Monroe A. Gordon, preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters Mrs. Grant (Peggy)Kimball, Kannapolis, and Mrs. Larry (Libby June) Walters, China Grove; brother Libby Dickerson, Comer, Ga.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services: 3:30 p.m. Friday, Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Norman Brisson. Burial, Carolina Memorial Park.
