Jean Helen Jankens, 81, died Oct. 7, 2007 at Martin Nursing & Restorative Care in Port Salerno. She was born in Detroit, MI and lived in Stuart for the past two years, coming from Fort Lauderdale.
Prior to retirement she worked ten years as a clerk for JCPenney's in Fort Lauderdale.
She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Stuart.
Survivors include her son, Andrew T. Jankens of Stuart; daughter, Julie Jankens-Breen of Royal Oak, MI; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Andrew L. Jankens.
SERVICES: A Memorial service will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Young & Prill Funeral Home in Stuart.
