Patsy Fitch Copeland, 71, of West, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, in West. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bold Springs Cemetery near West, with Dr. John Crowder officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home.

Patsy was born to the late Elgin and Gertrude (Carter) Lowrie. She attended schools in Waco, graduating from Waco High School in 1954. In 1972, she was united in marriage to James "Dub" Copeland. Patsy enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. She also enjoyed sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially holiday gatherings. Patsy was a member of First Baptist Church of West.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister; and seven brothers.

Survivors include sons, Brent Fitch, of Waco, and Stewart Fitch, of Whitney; daughters, Shelly Haddock and husband, Ron, of Hewitt, Carla Allen and husband, Steve, of West, and Debra Holt, of Waco; step-sons, John Fitch, Jr., of Calif., and William Fitch, of Bellmead; step-daughter, Kelli Satterwhite, of Forney; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; brother, Earl Lowrie and wife, Nancy, of Bellmead; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
